What this site collects
Draft — awaiting counsel review. The statements below are the site's own record of what it does with data, written by the studio. They have not been reviewed by counsel, are not a legal notice, and will be replaced by the reviewed text when it is approved. Nothing that depends on a final privacy notice is filed until then.
The enquiry form
The form on /contact asks for a company name, your name, your email address and a message; a product page may also add the name of the product you were reading about.1 On submit these are sent to the studio's own backoffice at studio.syntaxspace.studio, where they are recorded as a lead.1 The form includes a hidden field that a person never sees; a submission that fills it is treated as automated and discarded.
Page views
Page views are counted by Umami, an open-source analytics service the studio runs itself on its own hostname, with no cookies and no third-party origin.1 At the time of writing this instance is not yet running; when it is, this paragraph will say what it records.
Mail the studio sends — a reply to an enquiry, a notification from the backoffice — goes out through Resend, a transactional email provider.2
Cookies
This site sets none. The only thing stored in your browser is the colour-theme choice, if you make one, in local storage on this site alone.
Retention and contact
How long a lead is kept, and the address to write to about your data, are to be stated here with the reviewed text.
